This "masterpiece" I created approximately half a year ago. And the source of inspiration was "Moment" of Kenny G - such a beautiful, deeply touching melody...
Forgive me, forgive me
Though I don't know the reason why,
Believe me, believe me,
I just can’t be alone in my life.
And all I’m longing for
Is for you to be here with me,
All the memories I keep,
They will always live in me.
Forgive me, forgive me
Though I don't know the reason why you leave me,
Without you in my soul
There will always be emptiness.
Remember, remember
The days when we had all the world,
When you were so tender,
I recall all the sweet things you told.
And all I’m living for
Is just making you smile,
Don’t turn away from me,
See me mourning and hear me cry.
Forgive me, forgive me
Though I don't know the reason why you leave me,
Believe me, believe me,
You’re the best of my closest friends.
My darling, you know,
I’m suffering this so hard,
Can’t imagine what my life will be
With us walking through life apart.
I need you and I miss you,
Even in my dreams wanna be with you.
Don’t hurt me, don’t you hurt me,
Rescue me from this song so blue.

I can feel some music rhythm here, perfect as always!
Thanks:) Probably, because it was intended to be the lyrics for Kenny G's "Movement":) Did you hear his wonderful music?
I did'n find unfortunately the "Movement" composition, but find "the Moment" one, the music of Kenny G is really divine.
Oh, perhaps, there was a mistake in the title of that composition, or it was me unable to read it correctly:)
Слушай! А нет ли у тебя перевода известного дуэта из "Призрака Оперы"? Такого литературно перевода, в стихах, который можно было бы спеть
Kenny G is one of my favorite artists...you just gotta love the emotion and sincerity in his music...
thanks for sharing this wonderful work of yours, however, i'm not sure if "The Moment" is the one you're referring to as basis of your composition? anyhow, you've got a talent, keep it up. ^_^
Thanks a bunch, I was moved by your comment!
Yes, it was “The Moment” – a beautiful and meaningful musical composition, listening to which aroused a feeling of bitter-sweet melancholy and nostalgia for the good old days. I never know what will inspire me to write my next poem…
